Scott Nimmo
Scott lives in Victoria, Australia, aka “That white-bearded Gandalf-looking MF” or when scaring people on the streets at midnight “Goth Santa”. He is lucky enough to reach a half century despite ample stupid actions in the past. My interests include roleplaying (TTRPGs), HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts), Sports Science and Psychology.
RPGs
Started with AD&D in the 80’s, favourite games/settings would be Shadowrun (played since 1st Ed), World of Darkness (since VtM 1st Ed), Trinity and Star Wars WEG (d6). I did a stretch of RPG books with release of AEON Trinity, D&D 3E (third party publishers), either in the role of a co-author, contributor or editor.
Typically hate any attempt at representing Australia in RPGS, which led me to be a co-author for Aurora Australis (originally to be called “Rumble Down Under”), the battle to make the material Australian and more realistic was always a battle. I also have a lot of material redoing Shadowrun to incorporate Australia properly as there is material in SR Lore which do to that cyberpunk bias that Australia has zero global impact.

HEMA
Historical European Martial Arts, which I view as a subcategory of Western Martial Arts. I have been practicing HEMA for over 25 years, starting Melbourne Swordplay Guild in 2003 and member of Australian Historical Swordplay Federation, Western Martial Academies of Australia. My particular interests are with Highland Swordsmanship, British Regimenal Broadsword and Armizare (sources by Fiore).
